The call for submissions asked photographers to submit images that evoked the spirit of Summer and the selected images definitely give a sense of the season. The show has quite an informal feel as the framing has been left open to the exhibitors. There is a diverse range of work on show from photographers such as Simon Norfolk who has captured grand Oak trees during sunset to Tim Motion’s image of a Jazz player performing on a summer’s eve.There will be a Summer party on Thursday 29th July to launch the exhibition, with live music and a few summer tipples and snacks, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the lighter evenings.
